BOOKSTORE CREDIT is only available for students who have approved financial aid that exceeds the cost of tuition and mandatory fees. Students should check their COAST accounts to ensure no outstanding balances are due.

The maximum bookstore credit available will be $900. For students whose approved financial aid is less than $900 after payment of tuition and mandatory fees, the maximum bookstore credit will be an amount up to, but not exceeding, the approved financial aid award. For example, if, following payment of tuition and mandatory fees, a student has approved financial aid of $400, the maximum bookstore credit for that student will be $400.

Financial aid is "approved" when all required paperwork has been submitted and processed, and your award has posted to your account in COAST.

You may only use the bookstore credit for the purchase of textbooks and other school-related supplies.

The bookstore credit will be available beginning fourteen (14) days prior to the start of classes.  For example in  Fall 2019 academic term, this means eligible students may use the bookstore credit beginning August 5, 2019.

The bookstore credit will end on August 30, 2019.After that date, you will not be able to use the bookstore credit for any reason. Please contact the bookstore directly for information on the current term.
